1964 Ford 2000
Hi All,

I was under the impression when I just bought my 1964 Ford 2000 tractor that all I needed was a bill of sale from the previous owner, because tractor titles (at least for this year/model) were non-existent. My neighbor just told me that I don't really own the 1964 Ford 2000 tractor because I do not have the title.

Which is the truth? Were 1964 Ford 2000 tractors sold with or without a title?

Thanks,

Stay away from this guy - he is toxic and does not know what he is talking about. Enjoy your new to you tractor.

Bought my tractor brand new in 1983 from the Ford dealer. All I got was a bill of sale.

Thank you for the comment. This is additional information will help us. Also, I got in touch with a tractor sales company that has been in business for 80 years and an Elder at my church. He said a title would never have existed and is providing a letter to that effect.

I have never seen a title for any of the 5 tractors I have owned. All were bought new.
