This thing is older than me. Mom kept it in the top kitchen drawer. It looks like Ulund Co. Nov 7-33 DE IN U.S. not sure on the company.

I can't count the number of 8 pack bottled Pepsi I opened with it in my youth.

Just opened a Sam Adam's. Cheers to tools that last generations.

I remember my grandfather having one like that with a screw-in loop on the end. It hung from his wooden chair on the front porch of his farmhouse. I must have been 7 or 8 and remember the look he gave me when I used it to open a bottle of Coke. :oops:

I collect beer bottle openers, but only the flat metal or wire types (I have a few hundred). I've seen a few of those in my travels. Nice that you have it and have those memories. (y)

This might be a one-of a-kind. Milled into my machete so I could find it in the shop. Long on leverage/short on ergonomics.

Yes - that one made by the blacksmith is a true treasurer. I've only ever seen two types. The flat metal with the piercing tip and the rounded one to open a pop bottle.
