Thanks guys! We will be relocating outside of Florida in the next couple of years. Tired of hearing my neighbors sliding glass door open and close. When we bought our current home it was a great idea, it was our first home, new construction. Now that we have a family more space is needed, but we will probably buy land and build. 10+ acres is realistic, but I would not be against more. School district, and a major hospital within 35 min is important. The wife is a RN and I will be one in a year. Looking in N Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee area. As you can tell, we have no real clue. The Augusta, Georgia area I feel is a great place to move. Major city to get anything you want but still small enough to only have a hour or less in rush hour traffic. We have a total of 7 hospitals and tons of medical field, and a army base that was just annouced that it would be the US location of the cyber command and also has a large NSA headquarters for the east side of the US which pretty much locks it in place and shields it from base closures. Lots of recreation in that area, Savannah river, Clarks Hill Lake. Beach is 2.5 hours and N GA Mountains are 3 Hours.
