Born without fear

Yesterday afternoon I was interupted by a visitor.

While using Blue to move some dirt as I was stretching wire Bud bumped a tree and the little fella hit the ground.

He seems to have no fear of us.

Blue's new to the family. Bud got her for helping out around his place. Yesterday she took turns with Iris putting concrete in the post holes.

Bud's always getting on to me for being so rough with Iris. First day out he found Blue doesn't have the same quality of bucket as Iris'.

The squirrel was put back into the tree and was last seen carrying on something fierce calling for his mama.

Bud thought the NH bucket was comparable to a Bobcat's. So he pushed a tree. The tree knew one bucket from another. So it pushed back. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I won't argue with that, but Bud needs to get a bolt-on cutter bar and only use that cutting edge for pushing. I've had my bucket for over four years and pushed a lot of trees without a single bend in the top of the bucket.

Is Bud going to use a floor jack to put the bucket back into shape? I bet you could come up with some reinforcement that wouldn't weigh as much as your skidsteer bucket either.
