Boom pole length

Can someone tell me how long their cat. 1 boom pole is? I had to order one and they said it would be 10 feet long but it is only 7 1/2 feet from pins to tip. Thanks, Bill C

Mine is only about 7 feet or so. No way it's 10 feet.

Shipping length may have been 10'.

There may be longer ones, but I believe you got the average one. Mine is about the same. John
