Loader Bonnet protector for M59

Needed more grill guard protection for brush, tree, dirt and stump work I tackle. With help of TBN members made improvements.

The bonnet protector hinged to front guard was an option no longer available. Luckily found a NOS from Messicks. Had to source some of the hinge hardware also, no big deal.
Found this on eBay today.

I remember when you got yours. Maybe someone will pick that one up, the price is OK, and when the protector is folded out there just isn't a better tool platform for doing maintenance.

Which reminds me.... there were a lot of options specifically made for the M59.
Now that the M59 model run is ancient history, we may see some of those pricey options start to appear more reasonably. Who knows? I may end up with rear remotes, another toolbox, & wheel weights afterall. Not that I need them....
Hmmm.... The whole goods catalogue lists a complete replacement engine for the M59 at $5700. I'll pass on that, but for half that price I'd be tempted. This tractor is a keeper.

I had some dirt spill on the hood loading or piling material even with a high back bucket. Backhoes and loaders have stout nose cones for that very reason. Cool option. Surprised it wasn’t more popular. As far as I know only offered for the M59.

Same equipment seller has the pre-cleaner kit for air filter for the M59.
Just bought rubber backhoe outrigger pads for the M59.

Brother in-law bought a horn kit for L39.
Seller has various remote, 3rd function parts for B, L and M tractors.
