Bolt on bucket hooks for my MT125

Just a note for XJ2025H bucket.....my bolt-on hook project has turned into a weld-on hook project :)

There is nowhere to mount the bolt on hooks....nowhere useful at least. Buddy picked it up yesterday & is going to weld them for me.

Stupid me, but I just assumed my bucket was the same or very similar to the MT125 in the video. Will put up a picture after I get my bucket back to illustrate, but just for reference, buy weld-on style for XJ2025.

XR3135 Bolt-on Hook location: Bolted thru a 3/8 x 2-1/2" flat strap on top of the bucket. Didn't even have to bolt thru the bucket. Easy to weld in strengthening gussets if needed. Oops, sorry...don't know why my two photos ended up in the quote above.

On our bucket, I welded a sturdy piece of angle across the front that was level with the step up in the top of bucket. Then it got a hook on either side and a hitch receiver in the center.

Thanks. I think the hitch receiver could come in handy in lots of different ways.

You bet. Well, the tooth bar was a plasma cutter project. It is somewhat like the BXpanded one. Pretty easy, just draw a bunch of W's and try to remember the bevel direction. I originally put the trailer ball on the flip side of this center hook, but it was too high and I made a drop hitch to slip in instead. I made a kind of a scoop that will maintain a 10" wide ~ 2 inch deep edge on the paved road coming in as a place for our winter rains to run which bolts to the side.

Here's how mine turned out. Cell phone pics at night that didn't come out real good, but enough to illustrate I think. I could have used longer hardware and drilled/bolted, but since the plate part would overhang a lot no matter where I placed it I didn't like that idea. For our buckets weld-on is probably best choice.

looks like those turned out very well and placed in an excellent spot. I welded D rings on my homemade SSQA forklift frame, but if I ever need hooks, Ill be sure to weld them up like you have there.
