We were working in the mountains again this week for a Christmas tree farm. This hill was very close to 100%. It made you pucker up for sure:laughing:

You ever notice that the longer the slope is the steeper it seems? Deffinetly looks like a pucker job there!

I took several pictures but just couldn't capture the slope. It's the steepest I have ever been on. I have tried slopes before that weren't this steep and never had a chance. The dirt was good and ground moisture was perfect. You had to keep the pressure even on both tracks. Any attempt to turn and you would lose traction and start sliding backwards. The only way to move over to do the next row was while backing back down.

Looks like God's country. Out here, that slope would have a million sharp rocks on it.

We thought the same thing going in and mentioned that when asked about slopes. We only found 2-3 rocks on the 35 acres we cleared, and they were as big as a car.

Sounds like (and looks like) if ya weren't puckerin so bad we'd be talkin 'bout some serious skid marks!

Hey Colby, It could have been a lot worse. That mountainside could have been covered with kudzu and tree of heaven also.

Gotta look on the bright side!!

Cool. I mowed some dams that were real steep. You get near the top and look out the back window and it looks straight down. I also went straight up and backed straigt down.

I was glad when it was over.

Did you have any issues with oil starvation? I think the Bobcat specs are about 25* fore and aft and left and right. I've heard working at severe angles leads to reduced engine life.
