Can anybody help me with this one? I've been a heavy equipment tech for 30 yrs. I rented a Bobcat e35 mini exc for the long weekend here for property improvements. Machine is BRAND NEW. Only had .8 hrs on it when I picked it up. Machine worked fine for one day. The 2nd day it "lost" all of it's tractive power. It will only travel in a straight line forward and reverse and will not climb a hill steeper than about 5 degrees. Unit will not turn unless you happen to be on a slope and activate a downhill motion turn. You can hear the hydraulic oil bypassing the relief valve what seems like all the time while trying to travel and turn. Also, when I was at the dealer picking it up, one of their techs was working on a similar machine. He had the whole machine off the ground using the boom on one end and the grader blade on the other. This machine will not do that. Just doesn't seem to have the chowder. Is there a quick setting I can change or something similar so I can use this **** thing? It's a rental so I don't want to break out the gauges and start messing around with relief pressures etc........

That is a load sense/supply on demand pump. Either something is obsrtucing the load sense circuit or an oring seal is leaking at the main releif valve. This something the dealer needs to look at.

Curious as to what the problem is? My brand new E32 just went back to the shop with the same symptoms.
