Ummmmmm I need to find a Bobcat dealer to buy my filters from....dang.

Picked up some more filters from the Bobcat dealer. The prices have gone up a bit.

Trans Filter #6695914 $13.00
Hydro filter #6695918 $16.23
Fuel filter #6694422 $2.83
Engine filter #6694509 $5.83
Air Filter #6673752 $12.79

That hydro filter price seems very low. I thought those cost closer to $40-50.

I paid nearly $60. for my Hydro filter, a NAPA Gold is less than $12.

I don't know for sure if Kioti follows the same type of hydraulic filter requirements as does Scag mowers, for instance, but Scag say to NEVER use an automotive type filter for the hydraulic filter replacement on their mowers.
I suspect the filter level of the automotive and tractor professional mowers is somewhat different if not completely different, hence the big $ difference. I sure wouldn't want to use a cheap quality filter on my tractor and have something go wrong. BTW, I'm not saying the Napa filter is junk, I do not have anything to make an apples to apples comparison from- and unfortunately I think the filter manufacturers like it that way- especially companies that sell their own brand of high priced filters- like Kioti, Deere, etc.
Anyone know for sure- facts vs. conjecture?

Bobcat CT 230 exact same as CK30 HST?

If so then the filters should be a dead-on match?

Maybe there is something not so obvious that makes them different? Warranty issues perhaps? Would not mind getting the lower price for sure..

Anyone?

Yes...x2.

Massey's prices are quite good. Glad to hear that since Pape quoted me
$100 for a CT230 parts book......in PDF!

Kioti's warranty is longer, and their air filter housing does not have an
inner filter. Of course, you can buy the inner filter from Bobcat.....it
goes right in.

So should we be running the Inner filters in our CK30's? More filtration sounds better; unless it won't let the engine breath easily. I'm at 5,000 feet-so the air is thin already. Can you elaborate please on the inner filter's purpose on BobCat?

Thanks

I've been using the inner filter on my ck30hst ever since i got it, can't hurt.

Some tractor makers use 2 air filters; some don't. The Kiotis don't use
the inner filter, and I was surprised that Bobcat did. Donaldson makes
the housing....the exact same unit for both. I don't use the inner filter
on my Kioti, but it can not hurt. I don't operate much in dusty environments.
