I bought a DK5810. The KB2485 backhoe got dropped off the truck and is irreparable. A new one is 5 months away.
Bobcat's equivalent is the BH86 on the CT4055, and is available right now. It's also 2k cheaper and mounts up like a Kubota backhoe which would be nice. Has anyone fitted one of these to a kioti or have any comments?
The kioti subframe is additional to the longitudinal subframe that connects the loader frame to the rear. It looks like the bobcat subframe replaces the longitudinal loader subframe. The loaders themselves are different but the bottom portion of the loader frames looks awfully similar in parts diagrams.
My tractor is hopefully due before Christmas but isn't here yet, so no measurements just yet.
Ask the dealer....? Well, dealer product knowledge is mixed. Kioti told me I couldn't fit a KB2485 to my DK, it had to be a KB2475. And Bobcat told me not to buy the BH86 and to get a Chinese 3-point backhoe because removing the Bobcat backhoe and returning it to take rear 3PL implements took 6 hours. So I'm on my own I suspect.
Or I just buy a 2nd hand mini ex and decide on the backhoe when I'm ready to sell it. But that's probably a whole different topic.
Thanks in advance!
