I just bought a used backhoe for my Bobcat T190. The main boom lift hydraulic drops a foot before catching when ever you push the lever to lower the boom. Does anyone know if i need to bleed the cylinder or if the valve on the control lever is the problem or ?? All the other movements on the backhoe seem to work fine. I did replace a couple of hydraulic lines on the backhoe that where leaking.
Thanks

Cycle the boom about 5 to 10 times.

You could also switch hoses just to check .

After you get the air out and it still does it check the load check valve in the main valve. Might have a bad spring or dirt in it.
