bobcat 743 fuel problem

not getting fuel to primer ball , any suggestions ??

Had same problem with the mini about a month ago. just quit in driveway. Thought it was pump at first but couldn't keep primer bulb hard. Ended up being fuel pickup in tank. Check supply line for leaks and integrity of pickup in tank. There are screens and pickup tubes being sold on ebay or you can go to dealer which was easier for me and I believe it was about 12 bucks for parts.

743 has a screen on the end of the pickup tube in the tank, this could be plugged. Or primer bulb may be plugged or failed internally.

Agree with SSdoxie, primer bulb, then fuel pick up, they break off in the tank. Might be able to try filling the tank. I went 2 months with mine where we could only run it down to half? tank. The pick up is a pain to get too, repair is do able. if my memory serves me, have to lift cab, then you can lay down in there and get to it. Good luck. Steve
