Bobcat 325 buckets

Hi, looking hard at a new 325, my salesman has found one, one of the last made, and it has never sold... helluva deal...

My question is, has anyone ever made/used an 8" bucket with this machine? I know there is not one offered by bobcat. I have a few 8" buckets laying around the yard from past machines, I am wondering if I can take the pin on mount from a larger bobcat, and weld on the 8" bucket. The one bucket I have in mind is an 8" bucket from a Kubota BX24 backhoe.

Any ideas/suggestions? Anyone know of one made?

anything can be made to work. i used to make buckets for bobcat minis all the time; someone would need a very specific bucket for a very specific job. they would rent the machine, and we would charge them to build the bucket from scratch. it took a few hours. ive made 4" wide buckets, 6" wide buckets, 8", 10" etc for very specific indoor trenching jobs.
