Open the side door cover, below the control valve you will see an aluminum manifold block. Has several hoses and solenoids on it. There are 2 work group solenoids. 1 has a green tie strap around the wires at the plug connection, the other has an orange tie strap. Check ohms on each to see which 1 is shorted, good solenoid should be around 8ohms resistance.

That is the "answer of the year" Direct, simple & short. (but it's why I won't part with my mechanicaly controlled machine)

I did get a hold of a manual and located the two solonoids that you are talking about. I unplugged them and the resistance of the green was close to spec and the orange was about half value (3 or 4 ohms) then I tried powering them up with some jumpers to the batt, the green would click when powered, the orange caused a slight arc but no clicking sound. with them powered to the batt I could move the machine and lift the blade. At least I could clear the lot and keep the shop open but no hydraulics for the bucket, arm, or swing...which made a messy plow job. I wouldn't be waisting my $$ by purchasing a solenoid?? I don't suppose you know the part # by chance... Thanks so much

Without your serial number I can't be 100% but I am fairly certain p/n is 6675351 (just the magnetic coil). On the manifold there should be 1 more solenoid that looks same as the 2 lockouts, this would be the 2 speed. You could move the 2 speed to the failed lockout just to make sure the other functions work fine and code clears. Machine would work except no hi-range. That would verify all you need is a new coil.

You can look up part numbers in online parts catalog in Bobcat's website Home Page - Bobcat Company.
