I hope to find useful information here.My opinion about the Kubota oil leaks on the front end is that the area above the seal is bare metal that becomes corroded aggravating seal failure. The area should be kept clean and grease coated. Bp blast or WD to hydro frag while evacuating with shopvac can prepare the area for packing with grease.
