Hello everyone! I wanted to be able to listen to some tunes while on, or around the tractor, and also did not want to spend a ton of money, so this is what I came up with. And when my phone is paired to it, I will actually be able to tell when someone calls as the music is replaced with the ringtone. The radio mount/holder was only about $12 shipped! I also have placed a 12v power socket into one of the rear speaker 'boxes'. This will make it nice to power the strobe (if/ when I have to road the equipment), and should be great for a 12v fan. Speakers are from my truck when I replaced them with better ones. The head unit was on clearance from crutchfield for $60, and by using some discover card cash back points, only cost $10 out of pocket. That makes the black project boxes from radio shack at less than $10 ea (w/tax) the most expensive part of the install! I hope this helps someone who was 'thinking about' doing something similar. I also got a usb powered led light to use as a dome light for almost nothing off of e bay.
