Is there such thing a camera that I could mount somewhere and watch on my phone or tablet through bluetooth?

I think you need wifi for this though. A lot of northern folks who winter in the south have ip cameras set up in their house. They can be viewed by smart phone, laptop or pc. I think the front door and the water heater is the most viewed areas.

A wifi camera may work too.I found a couple on ebay that claim they work with android. IDK what app I would need to make this work. I need a camera that is battery powered.

That may work but I was hoping to find something for less money.

Whit Bluetooth the camera and phone would need to be within 50 feet of each other to work.

What are you trying to do with this? There are many different options.

I was thinking about a backmup camera. From what I have read I am not sure if it is possible.
