Blowing smoke and no power at higher throttle settings

I have an LS 2030. It has a little of 50 hours on it. I haven't had any problems with it until today. I used the loader to push some hay around at minimum throttle. I then tried to push the throttle up to 2600 rpm to engage the finish mower and at full throttle it was blowing black exhaust and would only go to 2100 rpm's. Anyone have any ideas on where to start looking. Air filter doesn't look blocked. Possibly the fuel filter?

Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like a mechanical problem to me. the black smoke id unburned fuel. For some reason you are not getting compression on at least one piston. Ed

even if the air filter doesnt look blocked , i would still blow it clean with a air compressor ( carefully ) and change the fuel filter.

Just for a quick check, take the air filter out and see if it rev up to 2600 RPM or higher, if that doesn't do it, then start digging deeper

Never engage PTO implements at high throttle. Very hard on the tractor and can damage implements. To do any work with it at all including just driving it, You should be at no less than 1500 RPM per the manual. Sounds like a mechanical issue related to fuel.
