block heating on Foton 404

My 604 came from the factory with an in line block heater, thus assuming they are recommended by the manufacturer. It heats the water in the return hose and circulates coolant by the convection method. The entire system is heated, including the cab heater. It's easily replaceable simply by removing two hose clamps. I don't like freeze plug block heaters, as their not as easy to replace if needed and they don't last as long in my opinion, but then again, that's just me. PJ

Put one on my Foton 254 [lower radiator hose] It got cold enough a couple days ago that I needed it. Pluged it in 1/2 hour later started like a champ.

Well i finally put the lower radiator hose on my Foton. (i actually had some time off from work to do it). It was a real simple project. The only problem i ran into was making sure the new hose had the correct bend in it. I cant thank everyone more than enough. It is gonna get cold later on this week so we will see how works out.
