New Holland TN75
I have a New Holland TN75 tractor. This weekend we had to bleed the fuel lines which involved backing off the bleeder screw from the top of the fuel filter. Unfortunately, we wound up taking the bleeder screw completely out of the filter assembly. When we tried to tighten the bleeder screw, it would tighten down but not tighten all the way causing the fuel to continue to leak allowing the filter to suck air. I'm new to the tractor business and am hoping this is a replaceable part. Any help would be appreciated.

You can purchase a new filter assembly from your New Holland dealer.

You either have the screw cross-threaded or have lost the copper sealing washer, or have a chip of paint under the screw head or the washer.

You can drill out the threads and use a brass reducer and a brass plug to stop the leak. They make a replacement bleeder for brake cylinders or calipers available at part stores. You should be able to find something that will work.
