I just ordered a new 2305 with a rear blade. I couldn't decide on the front blade or the rear blade. Any thoughts as to which is better? I would be doing driveway upkeep as well as light snow clearing.
Thanks

I can't imagine you getting much snow is Durham NC, but if you want to deal with snow, the front blade will simply outperform the rear hands down. However, there is a sizeable price difference $1200 vs a few hundred and the difference in performance is nearly the same as the price. FYI..I run a front and rear blade on my 2210.

You are right in that we don't get much snow. But we do get it and a few years ago we got 19". Than's for the tip. I might add a front blade in the future.
