I have a Kioti CK30HST with a KL130 loader. Is there such thing as a dozer type blade attachment to go in place of the bucket? Theres 4 pins holding the bucket on.
I think that would be ideal for my dirt smoothing duties as opposed to having to remove the rear mower all the time.

I can tell you without reservation that you can smooth things out with that bucket much better than using a blade. It is one thing to use a blade on a dozer, quite different with one with tires. Using the heel of the bucket to regulate backdragging and forward digging makes a big difference. When I am doing a lawn or large areas, I lag screw a 2x6 that is a few feet wider than the bucket on either side. Makes for easier leveling and moves much more dirt.

is the board mounted under the edge bit? (bottom of the bucket working edge)

Kasco Mfg. makes a blade that can be installed in place of the bucket. It is a manual angle, but has a hydraulic option, designed to move snow and other loose material has spring controlled breakover for snow or can be locked rigid for dirt or stone.

Yes, my buvcket has some holes just behind the cutting edge steel. I just lie the board down flat, place the bucket on top of it and lag it to the bottom. It works well from straight down to flat when back dragging. I use it flat when going forward.

Wow, 2x6? That seems so simple and cheap, Very ingenius! 8' seems like it wood be a good working length, What is your experience? 10' too much? Just curious...

Just depends on the size of your tractor. I'm using 50hp. A 10-12 board works for me. If I am in tight quarters I use a shorter board. For a smaller bucket a 6-8 footer might be the ticket.
