I thought I would post the Oil Test results for My BX2200.

True enough I change it often , anyways here goes.

here is a small question. The results look very good but why test oil with only 21 hours? Is this before warranty runs out?

Comparing it to the used it looks still new;which with 21 hours on the oil it is. Ca is dropping pretty fast but I expect that to drop quick along with P and Zn.

Did you get NOX and OXID tested?

My BX gets done next month (less then 30 days) after 1-year of use. I was thinking about trying Amsoil Series 3000 to compare to there 15w-40.

I did have it tested before the entire warranty runs out next month....as far as having it tested at 21 hours.I have changed the oil in this machine at 25 hours since day one.

I know what the manual says but this is the way I do it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I am probably going synthetic but then I still won't run it a 100 hours between changes.

Changed the oil in the B2150 I had the same way, the only reason it is gone is size, just too big for the size lot I have now. What I had tested is what You see.$32.00 worth /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif but worth it for piece of mind.

Good. Glad to see you test the oil. BUT $32! Wow.

I will have to make a call and see how my OAI is now. Last year when I tested it was $17 with shipping!

The analysis itself is $20.00 if You want the TBN it is an additional $12.00.

Keep in mind I did not buy a package deal on this analysis.

OAI tests (with TBN) is around $20 to 23

Kinda strange they do not run both oxidation or nitration examinations as they indicate the cumulative degradation of the oil itself?
