Am trying to find the flip lever for a rtx3 type 1 rotary tool. B&D website shows a button and pin replacement and talking with them they only show that too. Has anyone got a replacement part number? The small lever locks the motor while you unsrew the tool and also prevents the motor from being started by lifting the small lever twoard the front.It is a registered part of this dremmel type tool. Have tried e-replacement tools etc. without any success. It's like they don't exist, but I see them at stores, advertised all the time. And have one.

I just posted a picture of part of mine in the "Rural Living" thread so I know what you refer to. Think I paid about $15 for my entire tool when it was new, and my manual for mine shows no parts breakdown. Did you check on Ebay to see if anybody has one listed for sale as a parts tool? Odds are if you did find the part you want new, it would cost as much with shipping as you could buy a new tool for. I have some Craftsman branded rotary tools that are nearing 25 years old, but todays are such poor quality they only last a few years.
