I have another bird in my coal stove pipe... had one once before and it just flew out. This one seems to be stuck and I would like to burn coal tonight.
Any suggestions? Chimney is about 32 feet tall.

Afternoon Mark,
What type of chimney do you have ? If you have a mosonary you might be able to get access through your cleanout door. If its the triple lined that goes up the side of your house they usually have a clean out at the bottom of the pipe before it goes up. Can you hear where the bird is ?

Did you offer him a beer? Judging by his picture in his posts, he looks a little big to fit in a chimney :D

Coal stove is burning at 500 degrees now... if bird was still there, he/she would be roasted. Cat has settled down.

Cat is one that the wife brought home... BIG white Hymalian cat at about 5 pounds... was lost when we spent 2 months in the Phillippines. Follows me everywhere now and loves tractors (orange). Runs like he@@ when I start the ford.
