These fellow are only hurting the cause of legal gun owners. Anti 2nd amendment people can use this as an example of why to ban guns. BTW I hunt, target shoot and belong to the NRA.
Remember the day when having guns meant you had a rabbit, squirrel, deer, plinking, target, snake, bird, guns and it didn't mean having an "arsenal"? Now, "guns" takes on a whole different attitude. Sad...

...and to see what firearms (or brands) & accessories might be common in that area 😁
I can only assume you aren't a damn Yankee when you're curious as to what kind of guns are common in the the states of Massachusetts, New York or New Jersey? 😁

You can not only be arrested for the type of gun you have, but your magazine, and in New Jersey, it's illegal to own hollow point bullets.

I've seen a Ruger ranch rifle "classified" as an AR-15, and I've seen images of revolvers when the gun in question was listed as a "semi auto" in the news.

I agree on both points. My first comment in this thread was before I realized they weren't "Neo-**** White guys" .
I'm still not sure if the guys really were standing outside their vehicles with rifles, the articles I keep reading are often rather vague.

There was a time when I was working in NY frequently, and travelling to Canada occasionally. A couple of years after buying my used truck from a dealer, I happened to reach under the carpet behind the back seat and pulled out a package of .357 hollow points that weren't mine. Not a big deal, but the wrong person in the wrong state/country could have made it one.

Not a gun Nut, but the AR is pretty fun to shoot. Now i have to go out an paint my "grease gun" a different color.
I still haven't fired mine, but find that I can hold it a lot steadier than any other firearm I own.
