Happy New Year! I haven't been on the forum for awhile but thought you might be interested in the size of vessels they build in Alberta. Dacro is one the premier vessels builders. 318ft. long and 1,760,000lbs!

They must have a crane or cranes that will to the job or they would not have built it on the flat. I have seen some **** big cranes. Often the crane(s) are brought to the site in sections and erected there.

I'm not Carl. I think you are thinking of Shield Arc. Mammoet is moving the vessel so most likely lifting it. They may use one of their modular ring cranes. The largest one will lift 5000 tons! I wouldn't be surprised if moving and setting cost a 1/4 million or more.
