I have an L5030 with the BH90 and an 18" bucket. A buddy of mine has a 24" bucket on his BH90 which seems to do pretty well. Does anyone have any experience using the 36" bucket that Kubota offers? A little steep at $1100, but if it cuts digging time in half or less...

The real question is whether the hydraulics are really strong enough to dig effectively with a bucket that size. Also, has anyone had Markham custom fabricate a bucket? I am wondering if his bucket would be better than Kubota OEM and cheaper to boot. Ah, to have a plasma cutter. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Well, I took the plunge on the 36" Kubota bucket (Markham doesn't make backhoe buckets). It is incredible! Just thought someone might want to know...it sure does like HUGE compared to the dipperstick, though. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
