BH77 and a L3540

Had someone that I know call me to ask if I wanted to buy a like new BH77 backhoe for my 3540. I beleive that it came off of a smaller tractor and at this time, I dont think that it comes as a complete kit, Just the backhoe itself. What else will I need to buy to make this work?

You will need a sub frame mount and a hydraulic adapter kit to install the BH77 . If the BH came off a smaller tractor, the sub frame probably won't fit your L3540. They aren't cheap to buy new and can be a challenge to install yourself. The best bet is to check with your dealer.

Also keep a eye on ebay. Some dealers offer them as NOS and you can get a deal. There is a sub frame on there now for 3240-3540 for 200.00. As far as hoses Messick or Coleman they are both Kubota dealers I have had good luck with.

And by using a different subframe if you can make it work.you will still need a seat and hardware if your tractor seat doesn't turn around.unless it already has it.different joysticks for 77 with seat and one without .just went thru it.
