BF Avery A newbie

I am happy that I found this forum, I am helping my dad renovating a BF Avery A model from 51 (I think it is anyway).

The tractor is in Sweden and is one of only 3 known BF Avery's there.

I will read through the information on thsi site before I start asking silly questions..

Welcome to TBN. How's the weather in Sweden?

I'm restoring a 1951 Minneapolis Moline BF tractor. It's actually an Avery model R, renamed "BF" when MM bought the B.F. Avery company in 1950 (MM already had a model "R" in its product line, hence the change to "BF" which means "Benjamin Franklin" as in Benjamin Franklin Avery, the founder of the company). I am not sure of the weather in Sweden at the moment, I have been on an oil rig outside China for 7 weeks...
