 Hello I have a TC35D and my 6' blade is busted up beyond help.

I went to tractor supply and saw a 300 & a heavy duty for 500.

Anyone care to chime in with other brand blades I should be considering?

Buy used. Half the price and often 2x as heavy. Lots of used blade in good shape.

Ditto to Radman. Lots of farm auctions this time of year. Around here, easy to score a good one for $150.00.

I agree with the other two, go used. You should know what a heavy duty one looks like by now, and you can get some good prices even at equipment auctions. Anything beats a new price.

I got one at an auction for $125.00. All it needs is some paint.

I've been looking on Craigslist for a rear blade and a brush hog without any success. You mention auctions, where do you find them?

Do you guys really see blades that are any stronger than what he already bent up? Around here there are lots of blades to be had, but most if not all are the size of what would have been used on an N series 2 wheel drive Ford. I think that size is not strong enough for his tractor myself.
Anyway, just my opinion.;)

And to the original poster, remember that if you buy new, you get what you pay for.

I got my rear blade at a farm auction, and I get lots of equipmet at farm auctions, including one of my tractors. If you look carefully, and know prices and equipment, you can do very well. Almost every area has a weekly agricultural newspaper. They will have local autions listed. Also goggle "farm auctions" or "agricultural auctions" and put in your town and state, and you'll probably find them. On top of that, just goggle farm auctions, there are sites that list them all over the country.

Good luck!!!

Thanks guys, If I can find a used one in a hurry I will go for it. Other wise i will spend the 500 and buy the comercial Tractor Supply 7' blade.

I have a new light weight on my 8N for doing the beach at the cabin but the TC35 (even under powered) tore this up in just a few years of playing in the back yard.
