Thanks. I have to say, I've spent hours looking at the Kubota brochures and website, and at the dealer looking at some models in each series, and I still can't keep it straight. You would think they'd have some kind of chart clarifying the strong points of each series. I will look at the L3130/3430/3830. I liked the L39 because of the integral frame for the loader and backhoe, compaere with the L3400. I don't want power I won't use, but don't want to be frustrated when I go to dig a stump or lift a rock.
John, I see what you mean about the loader being better on the GL models. That's the thing - I want a loader with a bolt-on edge, etc. I want a fairly solid machine, and I don't need it to cut grass. Its really for backhoe and loader work, postholes, some bushhog work twice a year, but mainly the loader and backhoe would be on the tractor. Thanks again.
