Long distance tractor shipping is really expensive. I found long distance quotes that were good, but the shipping costs more than wiped out any savings.

I have a 25000 quote for a M5040 4WD with FEL and R4 tires. The price is getting closer but no cigar yet.

I got a lower quote from a dealer today of 24,600 for a M5040 4WD w/FEL and R4 tires , he said with the tires filled and he would deliver. He is about 45 miles from where I live.

I have a 24,378 for M5040 w/FEL R4 and a loader delivered with tires filled. The longer I look the lower the price.

Is that with a Kubota FEL? Best Price I can find is $25,500 in KY.

UPDATE NEW PRICE
I got a lower price today from another dealer. 24,350 for M5040 w/ Kubota loader and R4 tires 4WD. That price is 1650.00 lower than what he priced me 2 weeks ago, he said then that 26000 was the lowest he could go. I wish they would just tell their lowest price from the start and stick with it.

I just happened to be by Sherwood, and stopped and asked that Randy Standridge about a tractor. He priced me 25,750 about 2 or 3 weeks ago. I stopped and ask him if he could beat 24,350, and he kinda went crazy saying NO WAY. So I guess he doesn't need to sell a tractor very bad.
