Best diesel 5 gal fuel can?

I just take out the springs and tip on the new cans (I cut of the tip with my angle grinder) and then drive a roofing nail though the container (where the breather would be) and pull it out when i am fueling and then just push it back in it. Its easy to pour and just as fast as the old ones.

An update to my purchase, and its possible this will get "yanked" for being a "political" comment by Mohammad somebody or another, but there was some question as to the JustRite Type II cans being made in China. All 6 of mine, 3 yellow and 3 Red, were made in the good old USA.

Quality of all 6 is superb and appears to be well worth the $45 I paid for each. Even though I purchased these through Zoro Tools, each had a shipping label from Grainger, so its entirely possible some distributors sell the Chinese made JustRite cans while others the 100% made in the USA models.....

I ordered mine from Amazon, the details says it's made in the U.S., but it said Made in China when I got it.

Little something I just found at the local attwoods . A replacement spout to get rid of the EPA spout on the new cans . Says its legal to use in my state . Which I would use even it not .

I got my 3 from Zorotools and both the cardboard box and can labels have written on them "Made in U.S.A". Nice heavy duty cardboard box, the boxes alone will probably last me 10 years hauling tools etc.

No this spout fixes it it comes with the vent which in stalls with a 1/2 drill bit .

And that was my problem with the new cans also couldn't fill my chain saw with out a big mess . But this spout has no leak to it . Basically makes them the old style cans we all liked .

States it's questionable legal in my state . But we don't have gas can **** cops here . Never seen or heard of anyone have any problem with fuel in any kind of container .

Yes, came across this as I was searching this past week and then found this thread. AND looking at the EZ-Pour store locator the Tractor Supply Co. (TSC) has them. sweet.


Bummer that Rual King moved out of my area. They really had some good deals.
