Buying Advice Best Compact Tractor for my size?

I have done some research and looked at a few compact tractors (Mahindra, New Holland, and Kubota) and have not found one so far to fit my 6'5" 400lb frame comfortably. Despite the obvious answer of losing weight I am seeking advice on what brand of tractors offer more room in the compact range or should I just move up to a bigger size tractor?

I have changed seats, extended or raised seat mounts , modified steering shafts to reach the operator rather than having to crouch over to reach it once the seat is moved, modified pedals and controls to make machines more user friendly for myself and others over the years but find in my old age that having the room from the get go is always the best solution If your property will lend itself to a bigger machine and the funds don't limit you. I feel buying the machine that fits you rather than trying to stuff 50LBS of potatoes into a 3.75oz sardine can to be the smarter way to do things and in most cases prevents you from going tractor shopping again in a year or two after wasting time and money moving and modifying things only to realize that the only true way to be 100% comfortable is to find the machine that fits from the start.

Not one of the machines that I modified for myself ever lived up to the comfort of a machine that was built right for me from the start. Most of the people I have done modifications for just needed useable not perfect and the words they use to describe life after mods never implied anything other than just that Livable but not comfortable. Many of us spend long hours in the seat much more than in our trucks or cars but we make no compromise when it comes to buying a truck or car and I would not recommend making a compromise with the tractor unless you don't plan on much seat time and want to look at seat time like someone who has to change heavy 3 point attachments constantly on uneven ground with no quick hitch or extendable links.

Since I don't count the platform as a step, does that mean the pictured 305 is still a SCUT?:confused3:

Thanks for all the feedback. Sorry I didn't say what my needs for it were in my original post. I have about 6 acres to keep up and use it for food plots at my hunting lease also thinking about starting a small business bush-hogging and clearing land for others. I have taken the (butt in seat) advice literally and have tried several different models and sizes from those mentioned in the responses to my post and nothing fits yet. I haven't found a Massey dealer in my area Jackson, MS but, I did find a Yanmar dealer about 90 miles from me and I plan on looking at them. If anyone has one or knows someone that does any feedback on them would be helpful. As far as price goes I wanted to try and stay around $20,000. Once again thanks for all the help!!!!

Butt in seats! No other way of finding out what will work for you. .

I'd go to large dealers with lots of inventory and put your butt in the seats of as many tractors as you can. This is not something I would take opinions on, bodies can be of all shapes. Some are top heavy, some bottom heavy, some middle heavy or a combination. It fits you or it doesn't.
