Best Attachment for Removing Rocks

Hook - Don't know if you had any luck doing this - but I borrowed a rake to move rocks just as you describe. I had to set it at such an aggressive degree of pitch to keep the rocks moving that it dug up new ones as it went. It moved the ones I was after alright enuff - but it left new ones in their place. Not a lot of help. AND I HAVE 8 ACRES TO DO. looks like a lifetime project ----

After reading in the archives on the prices of new landscape rakes, I decided to return to my local NH dealer and purchase the used one I looked at the other day.
It is a Landpride RB 1572, although it clearly shows some use, it looks to be in very good shape. I paid $400.00 for it.
I was able to play with it for a little while before the snow got to wet and nasty to want to be out in. I found it to be doing an excellant job of peeling up rocks, up to the size of grapefruits was about the largest I discovered in my driveway.
The other thing I also discoverd Real Fast was, This is not an implement that I am going to master without alot of use and practise. After about 30 minutes of use, I could definately see the advantage and need of guage wheels. They will most certainly be my next purchase.
