The first shot at this is a Landscape Rake: LandPride or ETS run $600 - $800 even for the 48" width I will be limited to. I am willing to spend the money but wonder if that is the best approach or overkill. There are two jobs: one is raking then moving to a burn / mulch pile the other is piling in place with the rake to burn. Walnut and Oak are the trees. I have tight access on a slope for one tree - I prefer to back up the hill thus this is likely an attachment for the hitch. The LR I am sure I can use for other jobs given the strength of the tines. Thoughts?

Never heard of a pine straw rake until your post. Now that i know what to look for I see several other threads / posts on the subject here and in other forums. Also looked at some videos. You are probably right - getting a landscape rake to rake light debris and not dig is a bit tricky. I did not find a 4' pine straw rake (60" the smallest) and the Everything Attachments PS rakes are as expensive as landscape rakes. It looks like it boils down to these two - I will keep looking for a better price (Tractor Supply has one) and watching vids. thanks for the reply.

Most buy PSRs 12" to 24" wider than rear tires, so tractor can rake along fence lines and buildings.
