Kubota L3700, FEL quick release bucket, Root Grapple, 5' brush Hog - King Kutter, 6' Blade.
My Kubota L3700SU HST will have the 524 FEL with quick attach and two stage hyrdaulics. Just purchased a brush grapple. Kubota has a 3rd function set up but it attaches at the rear - Seems very inconvenient to reach back to open the grapple.

Everything Attachments has a special hookup kit for the 3rd stage hydraulic function. I also saw another one on a YouTube video but want not sure what to look for in components and features. My dealer said he could install the kit for me.

Has anyone purchased a 3rd stage kit with all the functions on the joy stick? I know some of you create your own too!

Thanks,

Nature Girl

If rjkobbeman doesn't show up, you might check with him as he installed his own third function valve. Several others have them, but he is the only one I know who has done his own work.

That's good to know, thanks so much, it may help whoever installs the system or kit.

I bought all the parts for my third function valve myself, and have been really happy with the way it works. I seem to use it a lot more than I thought I would.

WR Long also makes a kit for your machine.

What parts did you get and where for your kit? I'm thinking of building one as well.

...Kubota has a 3rd function set up but it attaches at the rear - Seems very inconvenient to reach back to open the grapple...
First of all, I'm cheap, so I would try the rear remote as is and see how it works out. The hose should not be that much money to run the line up front (only need 1/4" line). Lot of people talk about how easy it is to use the push button... I do not find it hard to reach for another lever... especially for what it costs!

I would also wait and see if you need more remotes (Top and Tilt and other attachments) I added 3 valves, now wish I added more. Link in my signature for my valves...

Valve and subplate was purchased at dalton Hydraulics. I also purchase a lot of my stuff From Bailey, which ever is cheapest at the time.

They also have the fittings and anyhose if needed. As for the joystick I happen to have had one in a box of stuff in the shop so I used it. Also I purchased some of the fittings and hose that I didn't have from my local Case IH dealer.

A few pics of my set-up. Also a side note, depending on your GPM of your pump you may have to step up to the larger DO5 valve, just have to look at the specs. As Kenny pointed out W.R. long is a source along with everything attachments, and one of these would be a one stop shopping if you don't want to try and figure up everything you need or run get it.

Great, thanks for the info. I'm still researching but my current thinking is to add more than just a third port. If I'm going to do it I'd like to have the ability to add additional functionality without another major plumbing overhaul. Do it once and do it right.
