Hello, I just purchased a "like new" Ber Vac by RAD Technologies SE 63 Snowblower. I had to make a quick decision and I reviewed the product line and found good reviews. I bought it last night. Upon getting it home I continued to research it and I can't find anything out about this model. I am getting the impression it is very old and I have found service people in my area who service the RAD Ber-Vac, Blizzard Snowblowers but they have not heard of my model before. Any info regarding like models under different names or any idea on how to determine the year, where I might order parts, etc would be really helpful. The serial # is 9700125, the model # is 9401. The manual states it was published 10/96 and the line began in 1996 starting at serial number 9600101. This leads me to think it could be a 1997 but looking at the machine that is almost unbelievable. I am including pictures, Thanks!
