Dug almost 1,000 feet this week and installed a 2" water line for irrigation of sone new date palm trees I'll be planting.

Are you guys trying to push the trees over or digging out the roots first? If the tree is bending but not falling, then you must dig more. The push should just be a simple nudge. Watch video on how the big guys do it.
