So my wife was mowing the yard the other day and decided to mow the field that I never mow. In the process of doing so, she hit a the short riser pipe from the septic line (it's short enough to get under the brush guard but not the mower deck). We've got a D140, and she hit it going full speed I believe since she flew off the seat, hit her ribs on the steering wheel and scraped up her hand.
I went out to look at the mower today (I assumed she had hit the brush guard), and saw that nope, she hit the mower deck. Now, when the deck is all the way up, the front is 2 inches off the ground and the back is 4 inches off the ground. Also, when I push on the brake side of the deck the deck swings several inches to the right and then hits a hard stop. Remove my foot and it swings back. I'm afraid she has done quite a number on the mower.
Is this something I can fix or am I going to need to take it to my dealer and ask my wife to get a second job when I get raked over the coals? :-(
