I found this in our closet yesterday- it belonged to my great aunt who has passed away, and my dad had given it to my son years ago. I didn't know it was there, and opened it out of curiosity. It is a Benjamin Air Pistol, model #102. According to the interweb, they were made from 1935-1938. Can't find much else, at this point.
It pumps up, holds air, and fires. I haven't shot a pellet through it, though.
The box is solid and in decent shape, the instructions are in it, and there is a tin of pellets in the appropriate compartment. My aunt was pretty organized and particular, and I would assume that the tin and pellets are original.
Anybody into these? I'm not interested in selling- it is interesting and sentimental to me- but I would like to know more about it, including possible value. I have seen two empty boxes for sale on Ebay for $100 a piece, but that doesn't mean a whole lot- those were buy it now prices, not auction values.

No one? I've even joined an airgun forum, and have heard nothing, yet. In the information age, it is a surprise to find something that is so elusive to learn more about.

I'll say "Hi!" but I know nothing about old air pistols. Sorry. ;)
