Any one know who makes the bolt on belly pan protector skid plate for the Deere 110 TLB ? Thanks for your help.

John Deere has a skid plate option for the 110 TLB. I suspect you could buy it from a JD dealer. I was looking at the 110 a few years ago and seems like it was on the order of an $800 option.

Thank you I am aware it is available through JD dealers. However I am trying to source it at a better cost. If any one knows who makes it for Deere please post. Thank you.:)

I just bought one a couple of months ago. New part number is 704745, I paid $605.00

Here is the info on the manufacturer, not sure if they will sell direct. Good Luck!

available ONLY at DEERE. Soon not available at all because Deere just discontinued the 110TLB tractor due to miniexcavators taking the lions share of the market. SO ORDER NOW OR FORGET IT.:):)

Thanks for the info. I had a feeling they wouldn't sell direct, but it doesn't cost to ask. I worry now that parts and accessories will be going up in price, or not available. One of the reasons I bought the 110 was Deere's reputation for product support. I guess time will tell.

Since I haven't even got 100 hours on it yet in a year's time, I shouldn't be worried about parts!! :ashamed:

Has anyone removed the skid plate for service work? I need to access the check valve on my SCV valve . Any tips?

Thanks
Drew

If you can, get the machine on a level spot and on a hard surface (concrete or asphalt) , get a floor jack and try to center it under the skid plate, jack it up so it is just resting on the underside of the skidplate, remove the mounting bolts, and SLOWLY lower the jack, the skidplate may slide if it is not balanced so be careful. Check the valve then reinstall the plate. Good luck....
