Belly Mower compatibily for JD 4300

Is there a list of which belly mowers fit which tractors for John Deere?

Specifically will a 72" mower from a 870 fit on a 4300? The guy I am buying a house from has offered me a killer deal on his 4300 but doesn't have a mower for it. A mower off of a 870 just popped up for sale locally.

I'd call a dealer with the model number to be sure but I looked on tractorhouse and the mowers for the 870's and 4300's look the same to me. They're both yellow anyway.

What model # is the mower you're looking at? I saw a pic of a 4300 with a "Commercial 60" on the mower. I'm assuming the 6 footer would be a "Commercial 72".

Also are you sure the 4300 has a mid PTO and can take a belly mower?
