Is there such a thing as a belly mount lawn mower for the Satoh Beaver S370D? If so, is it possible to run it from the front crankshaft with some sort of a kit? Any info greatly appreciated.

I have a Mitsubishi MT372D that is almost the twin brother to your Satoh. It has a Woods belly mower . 48".
It runs off of the front crank with a slip yolk/shaft and electric clutch. I think the mower is still made (universal design) but I doubt the mounting kit and front clutch mount is still availlable. Watch E-Bay , I have seen them there ocassionally

Al is correct. The front pto kit and electric clutch mounting kit are no longer available. However, if you find a deck I think I can provide a used assembly and the replacement clutch itself is still available. With the exception of Woods, all the companies that made decks for the 370 have gone out of business. We sell parts for Satoh and Mitsubishi tractors. Bill - satohparts.com 1-800-609-5110
