Belarus 825 Front Wheel Assist

Dad bought a Belarus 825 with front wheel assist new in 1996.

The fwa intermediate bearing/clutch assembly bearings are now bad (gone). The rear tires are larger then stock.

Would the larger tires have ruin the bearings/clutch assembly?

I took a closer look at the bearing/clutch assembly. The clutches look okay and are not overheated. The bearing area was filled with oil but maybe condensation had built-up and rusted the bearing retainer. Looks like an easy fix of replacing the bearings and seals.
