I think he threatened it with the toothbar. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Or that large stick of dynamite sticking up in the back of the loader... whoops... wait a second... that's just the ROPS. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Did you pick it up or just push it? I have LOTS of rocks like this in my yard so I was curious... my 4600/460 FEL likes them too.

Good job!

I dug that sucker up with the tooth bar. Took every bit of 20 minutes, and was a great feeling when it finally came loose. I can pick it up and move it, but the tractor sure doesn't want much more.

OK, I have to ask, where did you get your toothbar and $$? Markham? I'm not trying to start another toothbar thread, just curious? I'm beginning to think I need one.
Do you have the standard 48" bucket?
And lastly, what type/quantity (#'s) ballast did you use?

Robert you are too harsh. Let the guy bask in the moment. I literally laughed out loud when I read that. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The toothbar is a Woods model (48") I think it was about $250 from local JD Ripoff artists. I have a Midwest 20 series Box Blade that weighs about 420# for ballast.

I moved a similar sized rock this past weekend and I could not get it into the bucket and had to push it away. Is this a common problem and if so, what methods might I try next time. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
