Tires Before I Pull the Trigger---AG vs. R4 Tires

I'm probably going to pull the trigger on a BX2660 with FEL today. I like the wider stability of the R4's for bushhogging and otherwise lumberdinking around the woods---I live on a sidehill in the woods---but I'm leaning toward the AG tires for off-road traction and lumberdinking in the snow. I do not have a yard other than a sandmound to mow twice a year. I will probably pick up a bush hog next year. Any huge pluses or minuses to consider? Tractor will be used for snow removal, long gravel driveway maintenance, skidding some firewood, pushing old treetops into piles to burn and bush hogging once I buy or rent one...

There are a number of other threads on this as well. Be forewarned there are as many hot opinions on tires as their are TBN members!

I ended up with liquid filled R4's and I love them.

My dealer also recomended the R4's, BUT the one thing he added to this debate was the smaller the tires on the CUT, the easier they log with mud etc.

My interpretation of that was if you need traction and are getting a mid sized from or smaller CUT the differentce between Ag and R4 is more pronounced, but mine is the largeest CUT frame Kioti makes, and the large rears the R4's are going to have excellent traction AND excellent wear/durability.

Thanks---I did some searching and for my application, the AG tires are the way to go!

If you are working in mud and woods and heavily off-road like that, then Ags are probably the better choice.
