Tiller Befco 6' 3 pt tiller

Does anyone have any experience with this brand of tiller. Im going to look at a Befco 374-232 3pt tiller. Check the Befco website and couldnt find this exact model. Any experiences with this model or befco brand would be a appreciated.

I cant find that model either? We sell the USA Made Tarter Gear Drive 6 ft for $1695 and from Ky to Mi shipping wouldn't be too bad at all. Ken Sweet

Thanks for the prompt reply this model is a USED tiller, with slip clutch and gear drive. Other than obvious signs of damage and wear, what should I be looking at when shopping for used tillers.

Look for tine wear ($6.95 each) and slack in the geardrive mesh slack. Check for oil leaks and overall appearance and that is about it. Ken Sweet

I have a Befco tiller Model T50-266. I'm not sure what you type of information you are looking for. I can tell you mine has been rock solid through quite a bit of tilling. I have hit a hole bunch of big rocks that it could not move and it just hops up in the air and keeps on going. These tillers are very well made.

I don,t own a Befco tiller but I do own a Befco,seeder,york rake and post hole digger.IMHO they make quality equipment.Michigan Iron and equipment located in Morrice Mi(517-625-4590)is a befco dealer.Great folks to deal with.Coobie.
